The well-known Albanian film "Captain" has been restored in 4K.
The news was announced by Prime Minister Rama, where through a video published on "Facebook" he gives details about the broadcast of the film this Tuesday.
"Even the iconic film "KAPEDANI" was restored in 4K, making this jewel of Albanian art untouchable for all generations. After the premiere today, at 19:00 at the Millennium cinema where the tickets are free, you can also see it at www.aqshf.gov.al", writes Rama.
"Kapedani" remains one of the best productions of the "New Albania" Kinostudio. The film "Kapedani" was made in 1972 with directors Muharrem Fejzo and Feim Hoshafi, while the script was written by Skënder Plasari.
In a material about the film, the Central State Film Archive (AQSHF) tells the story of the white-mustached warrior Sulo, who leaves his village for the capital to find out why women have been given the same rights as men. This film still occupies an important place in the memory of Albanians and is regularly broadcast on national television.
