Eduart Makri will no longer direct the National Cinematographic Center. By decision of the Council of Ministers, he was released from office on Thursday, thus ending his 4-year mandate. But this is not the only institution without a leader.
Even the National Art Gallery continues to remain without a holder since Erzen Shkololli ended his four-year mandate in November 2021 and expressed no ambition to continue it further.
This time also finds the National Historical Museum, without a director, since the resignation of Dorian Koçi, who for 6 years was the director of the country's largest museum as a commander.
Although with Koci's departure, there was an open call for applications, it was closed without a new leader. It is known that the new directors of these institutions will not be elected before the works for the restoration of the buildings are completed.
In the meantime, the Museum and Art Gallery are being directed by Entela Çipa, who has been assigned as commander. As for the National Center of Cinematography, there will be a competition very soon, although a deadline has not yet been announced. / Clan
