A serious incident happened on the stage of the theater in Hungary, where the two characters of 'Romeo and Juliet' were injured. Júlia Szász played Juliet while Otto Lajos Horváth performed as her father Capulet during the accident. Both actors are in the hospital in a serious but stable condition, writes Dailymail.
After the incident, it is learned that the director of the National Theatre, Attila Vidnyánszky, offered to resign on Monday, but the request was rejected by Hungary's culture minister, János Csák.
Vidnyánszky has served in his role as director of the National Theater for 10 years and is a close ally of Prime Minister Viktor Orban. An investigation has been launched into the case, while the Minister of Culture said that he would wait for the investigation's response before taking further action.
