President Bajram Begaj has reacted through a post on social networks on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, reconfirming Albania's solidarity with the United States of America.
"Today, with deep sorrow, we commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 on the city of New York. Albania reaffirms its firm stance against any form of terrorism and violence, anywhere in the world, and expresses its full solidarity with the families of the victims, the people and institutions of the United States," the head of state wrote.
President Begaj underlined that Albania will always stand by the US, as a strategic partner and reliable ally in protecting international peace and security.
