The leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, spoke about the election of the new Ombudsman.
Balla stated that after 3 years, the list of applicants for the People's Advocate position will be published tomorrow. He further added that those who are interested have until 12:00 midnight to apply.
"For 3 years, the successor has not been elected after the end of the mandate, while the law says 30 days after the end of the mandate, this has not been done. Until today at 12:00 at night, candidates have the right to express interest, starting tomorrow, those applications that come by mail, the Assembly will also publish the list, which goes to the responsible committee that initially evaluates who meets the criteria or not", declared Balla.
Meanwhile, Balla said that the Socialist Party does not yet have a name to support.
