Tedi Blushi, who ran for MP in the May 11 elections on the closed list of the Tirana District, for the 'PD-ASHM' coalition, was asked today if he would agree to withdraw from taking the mandate, with the aim of allowing Ilir Meta, the President of the PL, who ran on the open list, without managing to win a seat in Parliament, to enter the new Parliament.

He stated that he had no other comment other than respecting the protest for a free vote.

"I have no other comment than to respect this protest for freedom of vote. I did not work against Ilir Meta, you should do it to all those who worked day and night against Ilir Meta. You know who is hiding behind it, at the right time you will have these answers. We are not gathered today for this issue, but for freedom of vote", said Blushi.
