Writer Lea Ypi left open the possibility of political engagement in Albania, despite the fact that her life is currently built in Great Britain.
In an interview on "Off the Record" on A2 CNN, Ypi said that one never says no to the future.
" I think we are all engaged in politics, in the sense of power. The Latins had a saying that said 'ars longa vita brevis'."
"So art is long, life is short. Political power has a very short life and has that energy that it takes in that short life that is very great and creates an illusion of omnipotence. I think that perhaps this also comes from the approaches and from those political readings that philosophy, or political philosophers that interest me, have made and a reflection that in fact the power that is exercised in this way is not the only form of power ," she said.
According to her, " power takes different forms and I do not, that is, so far, I do not have any interest or any ambition to exercise power in the sense of decision-making in this aspect, of institutional decision-making, because I think there are other forms in which man contributes to society."
"We all have this role and we all participate in the ways we know and can do, and it's not said that someone who is a good intellectual or a good journalist is also a good politician. So I don't know, I haven't thought of myself in politics. One never says "no" to the future, but for now my priority is books, writing, engaging with readers. I don't want to open or close ," she said.
Kjo përgjigje lakonike, nga nje person mëse mediokër dhe pa asnjë llojë spikatje talenti, lë të kuptosh se dikush po i përgatit “vendin” në politikë. Për momentin “shitet” nëpërmjet propogandimit mediatik, për të përgatitur opinionin publik, si një intelektuale me vlera të mëdha që mund të oftojë një kontribut të çmuar në jetën politike. Skemë e vjetër propoganduese!! E hodhi “ gurin” ashtu si padashje se e majta dhe e djathta në Shqipëri nuk kanë ndonjë ndryshim esencial por synojnë integrimin europian. E thënë shqip, mos u habisni kur një intelektuale e madhe, pinjolle e së djathtës historike të ulet në krye të PSsë se për të mirën e kombit po e bënë. Edhe “djalit” politik të Nanos që do fluturojë në kolltukun që po ja ngrohë Begaj, do ti duhet shumë kjo kartë, një figurë e pastër, jo dardhëngrënëse bile bile e djathtë me origjinë që merr në dorë të ardhmen e shkëlqyer të partisë. Një rilindje brenda rilindjes.
Koment i trilluar dhe i gabuar. Bindjet e majta të Lea Ypi janë të dokumentuara dhe të palëkundura; nuk ka asgjë politike në supozimet e tuaja.

Kjoi nuk duhet te vihet ne krye se eshte nga ata Ypet bashkepunetore me fashizmin. Qe ne fillim kur plasi Djerokracia gabimi filloi me zgjedhjen e fitoren e ish Enveristeve e ish fashisteve. Jo, duhej te viheshin ne krye pjesa e pa nderlikuar nga te dy anet e keshtu do ishte me qetesi, barazi e integritet. Tani qe i ka marre muti shalet nuk ka Zot e dreq qe t'i ndreqe punet. Pse? Sepse ata qe u vune ishin nga shpirti te shitur e u shiten me keq e ja ku jemi tani.
