Prime Minister Edi Rama has congratulated Albanians on the occasion of the new year through a public message, emphasizing that the socialist majority, according to him, succeeded in radically changing Albania and orienting it towards Europe. Rama presented the balance of governance as a direct result of the political force he leads, linking the country's European future to the mandate of the Socialist Party.
In his message, the head of government stated that the objective "Albania 2030 in the European Union" did not come about as a result of circumstances, but as a product of socialist governance. Rama emphasized that Albania has gained international weight, mentioning the fact that within 18 months the country will host a meeting of NATO leaders. According to him, today Albania represents a different reality and no longer bows the head of any Albanian outside its borders.
Rama also listed some concrete indicators, claiming that in the last three years Albania has climbed 54 places in the global ranking for digital governance, positioning itself in 14th place. He stated that the e-Albania platform has saved citizens 620 million euros, while after the cyber terrorist attack, the government has built one of the strongest defense systems in Europe.
The Prime Minister's New Year's message focused on the government's achievements and long-term ambitions, without dwelling on the social and economic issues that continue to be a concern for a large part of the citizens. Rama concluded his greetings with an emphasis on the shared belief in Albania and the path towards the European Union, presenting this objective as a continuation of the socialist government.

Meqenese KM thote jane kursyer 600 milion euro nga futja e sistemit digjital ne sherbime, i them se kam mbi 2 vjet qe kerkoj certefikate pronesie mer nje objekt te legalizuar, ku kam te gjitha faturat e pagesave te bers sipas ligjeve, dhe akoma nuk jam pajis me certefikate. Tani jam ne kerkim te nje sekseri per te paguar nje shume te majme....Pra kemi shkuar shume me keq se me pare kur plotesonim nje formular ne sportel dhe per 2 jave merrnim dokumentin. Ndoshta jane ulur shpenzimet per shtetin por jane shumefishuar per qytetari.
