Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha was asked if he would accept the results of the May 11 elections, whatever they may be. He said he would accept any result of free and fair elections.
"I will only accept the results of free and fair elections. The chairman of the Republican National Committee in the US gave a warning to Edi Rama: "You don't make choices, but know that this time there is no business as usual," he told "News 24".
"The leader of a political party has a mission to lead the party to victory, not to try to create a copy of himself. What is the right of the members of the DP to choose who they like?"
"I will respect what the membership chooses. There is no candidate within my family. My daughter follows politics from her private life, she did not enter any list, nor did my son-in-law or son," Berisha added.
