The leader of the "Mundësia" Party, Agron Shehaj, says that those who seek change in politics cannot simultaneously demand the return of Sali Berisha and the Democratic Party.
In an interview with Nikoll Lesi, he spoke about the journey of the political force he leads and the objectives for the upcoming elections.
Shehaj said that the party was created from scratch and that within two years it has managed to secure representation in the Assembly with two deputies.
"We have created a political project from scratch and within 2 years we managed to be in Parliament with 2 deputies. In Tirana we received 6% of the votes and 3% in total," he said.
Asked if he intends to secure at least 10 mandates in the 2029 elections to become a governing factor, Shehaj said that political growth requires time and continuous work.
He emphasized that change does not come immediately and that citizens must support new political alternatives if they seek transformation of the political scene.
During the debate, Nikoll Lesi mentioned the possibility of creating other new parties, while Shehaj responded that the competition is open to anyone who seeks change. According to him, it makes no sense for people to seek change and at the same time ask him to return to the DP.
"Let them come out. And those who want change should not say 'You Agron, go back to the DP', because this is not change. Now they both want change and want me to go back to Berisha ," Shehaj declared.
