The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has welcomed the opening of group-chapters between Albania and the EU. In a reaction on social networks, he says that thanks to this achievement, Kosovo will also benefit.
But it is noticeable that in his reaction, Kurti avoids Prime Minister Rama. The latter boasted that this dream came true thanks to him, but Kurti proved once again that the relations between the two are still frozen.
" With the decision to open the first chapters for membership in the European family, Albania's integration into the European Union, a new and decisive chapter began today.
We are very happy with this achievement of Albania! Congratulations to the Albanian people and government! I wish you a journey without obstacles and progress based on meritocracy and the fulfillment of reforms that benefit the citizens and the country first.
The European Union is our common goal with Albania, not only as a goal of membership, but also as a value of our democratic societies, well-being for our citizens and orientation of our two states. From this journey that Albania is starting today, without a doubt, our Kosovo will also benefit from the lessons and experiences with which we will get even closer to Albania and the European Union ", says Kurti.
