Security expert Drizan Shala said that yesterday, before Prime Minister Edi Rama went to the press conference, he tried to talk to his counterpart Albin Kurti, but the latter did not answer his phone.
Invited to Euronews Albania, Shala emphasized that after that Rama communicated with the president of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani in order to convince Kurti to withdraw from his positions.
" Kurti didn't answer Rama's phone. It was then communicated through President Osmani, who is in Brussels. So it has been attempted to make a communication between the two governments. It was a phone call before Rama went to the conference. A phone call is made to get Kurt to back down from his stance. On these five points, there will be no meeting in Brussels between the representatives of the Serbs, the EU and Kosovo. So we will have cancellation" - said Shala.
