Well-known lawyer, Spartak Ngjela has warned of trouble for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and Prime Minister Edi Rama. The latter has been involved in the Serbia-Kosovo conflict in recent days on the grounds that he is defending the Kosovar cause, even though behind the scenes he is playing the role of the Serbian president, Aleksandër Vucic.
Rama announced last week that he has submitted to the French president, Emmanuel Macron, and the German chancellor, Olaf Scholz, a draft for the creation of the association of Serbian municipalities, drawn up, as he said, by top-level European and American experts. Prime Minister Rama stated that it is a confidential document, which takes into consideration that the association is part of the organization of life in the Republic of Kosovo, addressing all the recommendations or conclusions of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo. But this decision of the head of the Albanian government seems to be a wrong move. It was lawyer Ngjela, who during a statement for "SOT" newspaper emphasized that Rama's decision risks "blowing" him from the prime minister's chair. "Doubtful actually. Rama has never been with Kosovo, so let's see, he will still be the prime minister of Albania. Yes, he was not for the national unity nor for the independence of Kosovo, which does not protect the Albanian interest, it is known ", he declared for the "SOT" newspaper.
The situation in PD
Furthermore, the lawyer Spartak Ngjela also focused on the situation within the opposition, especially that in the Democratic Party and "Foltore". Direct in what he said, lawyer Ngjela showed the reasons why Sali Berisha will never take over the leadership of the DP, although he himself and with the help of his entourage is trying to prevent the return of Lulzim Bashë to the head of the blue office. " There should not be any leader. As long as Berisha is there, they have no prospect that the West will not accept them. A right-wing party that accepts the West has no perspective today in Albania. Dako's arrest
Meanwhile, Spartak Ngjela has spoken about the arrest of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako . Also, Ngjela emphasized that the fact that he was not arrested before May 14, shows that they were cautious because it would damage the process in Durrës. "Are the accusations also related to a monetary benefit of the Mayor as a result of the violations? This remains to be proven. House arrest cannot be given because there are two criminal offenses for which it is not known how the investigation will go. He was not arrested before the elections because the socialist image in Durrës was damaged. The fact that this is declared as a close friend of Rama, and he does not need to explain that he was the mayor of Durrës. And the question is thus, that precisely for this important figure of the SP comes the accusation and arrests him. If Rama had the strength, they would not have arrested him. This shows that SPAK has no connection with Rama ", underlined Ngjela during a statement for "SOT" newspaper.
