The secretary of the DP parliamentary group, Arbi Agalliu, said that the Democratic Party should choose the new chairman as soon as possible.
According to Agalli, until today this was not possible due to the court's decision on the party seal. He also added that in September PD should have a chairman and by the end of the year it should be completed with all the structures.
"Today we must not waste a single minute of time. It will take an hour or so before it closes as a process. It was seen that in a year and a half, there is no coordination. Everyone is responsible, but more are those who have statutory responsibility. Until now there were no elections as there was no court decision and the blood would have to calm down. Today we enter elections in less than two years. In September, he should find us with a chairman and by the end of the year we should have all the structures", Agalliu told News 24.
According to him, Lulzim Basha was conditioned by Berisha. While he further added that he cannot talk about Basha's victory and change as he has not seen anything yet.
"Basha comes today and says that until yesterday I had a person behind me, if he comes today with a new team, with some truths said publicly, he cannot judge him in this his right. Until yesterday, I was of the opinion that Basha was conditioned by Berisha. Today, if Basha appears a completely different person, I cannot say that he does not bring victory because I have not seen him yet.
