The Supreme Court is expected to consider today the request of the former democratic deputy Ervin Salianji for the suspension of the decision of the Court of Appeal on the prison sentence.
In the last session on October 9, Salianji's defense withdrew from the request for the postponement of the decision to execute the prison sentence, since the object of the request no longer existed with the surrender of the former deputy.
Now Salianj's hope that qualifies his political punishment remains the Supreme Court. Salianji's lawyer, Ledio Braho, speaking to the media after the end of the session on October 9, also showed details about how the former PD deputy is coping with imprisonment.
"Salianji is calm. He chose to surrender himself. Everyone, when their freedom is limited, has their own problems, but since he is suffering a political punishment, he will take it to the end. We claim suspension of the Appeal decision from the Supreme Court.

The decision of the Court of Appeal has not yet been clarified, we do not know the reasons why the decision of the first instance was upheld. The CEC has not revoked the mandate of deputy Salianji, we are waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court", said his lawyer.
