Civil disobedience in Brussels? Gjekmarkaj reveals the next step of the

Analyst Neritan Sejamini asked the vice president of the DP, Agron Gjerkmarkaj, what the opposition intends to achieve with the so-called "civil disobedience".

Invited to the show "Te Paespozuarit", Gjekamarkaj answered that the main goal beyond the opposition is to return the institution of free vote and to achieve double pressure, to lead the country to a compromise government, a technical government.

Part of the conversation

Neritan Sejamini: What is the goal that DP will achieve with this kind of effort? Then we judge whether it is efficient or not.

Agron Gjekmarkaj : I know you know the answer. The main goal beyond the opposition is to return the institution of free vote. We have seen that we did not realize it with the government of Edi Rama. Not only the opposition, they believe that with this prime minister, it is impossible for us to hold uncontested elections, naturally we need a technical government.

Neritan Sejamini : How will the action of the opposition continue?

Agron Gjekmarkaj : The parliamentary group will leave for Brussels, where there will be important meetings and important events to sensitize international opinion.

Neritan Sejamini : Even the goal of free and fair elections is general. What do you mean? Should Rama resign? Is that the goal?

Agron Gjekmarkaj : With prayers, Edi Rama is not impressed. There are not many ways, it is a combination of sensitization of Albanian society and internationals. Acts of resistance are needed, we hope and perhaps from an intensive work that the PD is doing in the international offices, to achieve double pressure, to lead to a compromise government, a technical government. We ask for it because it would discourage, if modeled well, the ties of power to crime and society feels freer to vote.
