The Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha, has reacted after the arrest of the head of Anti-Drugs in Durrës, Gazmir Preçi.
Minister Hoxha writes that where the operation shows that the message is clear, policemen who are removed as patrons of citizens and businesses will receive the harshest legal punishment.
" The operation of the AMP, in cooperation with SPAK, is a clear message to those police officers of any level, who will attempt to violate citizens' trust in the Police, by removing themselves as patrons of citizens and businesses, and not as servants of the law, will receive the severest legal punishment.
I support and encourage AMP and other law enforcement agencies, as well as encourage and guarantee citizens and businesses to report such cases, because only together we can achieve the main objective, to have a Police as professional as possible and with high moral integrity and legal! "- says the minister.
