Prime Minister Edi Rama considered the situation following the arrest of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj to be delicate.
Rama said that after this arrest, many questions and concerns will be raised. The Prime Minister was careful to state several times that he was not the one to determine whether Erion Veliaj was innocent or not.
"We are in a delicate situation, not simply political, or in relation to justice, but one that will raise many questions and concerns, not only about this case, but also in those that will come in the future."
This has nothing to do with Erion's guilt or innocence.
