105th anniversary of Tirana as the capital, Arta Dade: Erioni represents the new generation of politics, justice should be equal for all

Tirana celebrates today the 105th anniversary of its declaration as the capital. But the mayor Erion Velaij, who was arrested yesterday, was absent from the ceremony held today.

The ceremony was attended by many personalities, notably former MP Arta Dade, who did not fail to mention his ban.

" Erioni represents the new generation of politics. He has nothing to do with the politics of 35 years. I wish that our beloved mayor will wage a legal battle until the end and for his truth. I am convinced that in his example, the municipality of Tirana will be at the forefront of developments like all EU capitals. Veliaj could very well be the mayor of Rome. With his vision, his maturity, he is definitely the mayor of a European municipality.
