"Nothing is ruled out"/ DP changes the scenario of tomorrow's
Sali Berisha in protest

Sources within the DP indicate that the goal is a dynamic protest, which should not be focused solely on one fixed point.

The opposition will hold its next protest in Tirana tomorrow at 6:00 PM, signaling a clear change in the way it is organized. Unlike previous rallies, this time there will be no speeches from the podium, while organizers have left open the possibility of marches, roadblocks or even a stand in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

The Democratic Party structures held their final organizational meetings on Friday, where they discussed logistics and coordination of participation. Sources within the DP indicate that the goal is a dynamic protest, which will not be focused on just one fixed point.

This development comes after statements by DP leader Sali Berisha, who on Wednesday warned of a “diversification” of forms of protest. “New forms will be explored,” he said, emphasizing that “nothing is excluded.”

The essence of the opposition's demand remains unchanged: the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the creation of a caretaker government that, according to it, would guarantee early elections and a fair electoral process.

In recent public appearances, Berisha has used strong tones, declaring that he demands the “immediate resignation” of the head of government. He has also warned of political confrontation if, according to him, the opposition’s demands are not taken into account.

The protest comes just two days after cabinet reshuffles, in which Prime Minister Rama removed Belinda Balluku and two other ministers from office, while the moves affected seven positions in total. The changes have been interpreted by the opposition as a sign of political pressure, while the government has presented them as part of an internal reorganization.

We emphasize that so far the full itinerary of the protest, its duration, or the way in which the movement of the protesters will be organized if there is a march has not been made public. It is also not known whether the State Police has approved a concrete plan for managing order and traffic, as there has been no official announcement.

However, 1,700 police officers will be on site to ensure the smooth running of the rally.

The participation of other opposition parties or civil society groups also remains unclear. Let's see what happens tomorrow, will it be a rally like the ones we are used to seeing, or has the opposition really reorganized the scenarios./ Pamphlet
