"Bajrat, Çelë, criminals and ministers will face the law",

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, promised zero tolerance towards corruption and a fierce fight against crime and abuse of power.

During his speech at the presentation of the Democratic Party's electoral program at the Palace of Congresses, Berisha emphasized that corruption is responsible for the poverty of citizens and the luxury of government officials.

He said that this phenomenon has led to a dramatic situation, where Albanian children have been forced to leave the country to seek a better life abroad. According to Berisha, corruption has had devastating consequences for Albania, deepening the divide between the government elite and the common people.

"Great Albania needs to clean its house. Corruption will be declared a serious criminal offense and those involved in it, including ministers and criminals, will be held accountable before the law ," said Sali Berisha.

A future Democratic Party government will ensure that politics is definitively separated from crime and abuse, and that no one will have the opportunity to threaten citizens for their vote.

"The Bajrats, the Çelës and the race of criminals with their ministers will no longer have a place in this country. They will face the law," declared the leading democrat.
