The Minister for Parliamentary Relations, Taulant Balla, made a statement with ironic and polemical tones towards the opposition during today's session in the Assembly, making fun of the Democratic Party's election results and its leadership.
Referring to Sali Berisha, Balla said that he shames the country with insults and false statements, while accusing the opposition of evading responsibility and refusing to recognize the election results.
"The moment has come, which we understand, from our side you have no interference, whether you implement the article or not, Basha, there is no problem. And I agree that you do not respect it, because even Basha, if he had been there himself, would not have implemented it. Please do not worry about the mud that you have started and made me ashamed, that man over there comes out. I have respect for the elderly, a little older than my father, you are dealing with him and locking him in the house, because he disgraced his home and country with that insult and those nonsense he says against Albania and comes here without quotation marks and mentions you, the cartel, this or that narco-state. Accept the defeat, let's go back in September with those of you who have gone too far, because you have been reduced too much to start working with the committees," said Balla.
