The official Democratic Party led by Lulzim Basha will hold the National Assembly on September 2, where the focus will be on statutory changes.
The National Assembly of the Democratic Party will meet on September 2, and before it, the presidency is expected to meet on Wednesday to make the relevant proposals for the statutory changes.
It is known that the statute will be affected in the part of the secretariats and the National Council.
The debates of the last few weeks about the competences of the General Secretary of the Democratic Party seem to lead to statutory changes in this party in the Assembly on September 2.
The sources of "Ora Neëa" clarified that within the DP, some changes in the statute are being discussed, which will limit and specify the duties of the secretaries of the party.
The election of the members of the National Council is expected to be another point in the status that will be proposed to the members of the Assembly for change!
If until now no less than 150 members have been elected by the National Assembly, this practice seems to no longer exist, as Lulzim Basha will propose that, apart from the ex-officio members, all the rest of the members of the National Council be elected by DP branches.
The National Council is the highest decision-making body between the two assemblies in the Democratic Party, so it seems that its composition will change completely after September 2.
In recent months, the official Democratic Party has been involved in strong debates, where the presidency, the parliamentary group and the General Secretary have continuously accused each other of violating the statute, and based on these clashes and statutory interpretations, it seems that Lulzim Basha has seen it as lesson, proposing to the thousands of members of the National Assembly the clarification of everyone's duties in the statute.
The meeting of the highest statutory body in the Democratic Party by Lulzim Basha is expected to deepen the division in the official DP, since the General Secretary Gazmend Bardhi himself and a part of the deputies and the presidency do not recognize him or Basha as the chairman as a meeting.
