During the closed-door meeting of the parliamentary group of the DP, the democratic deputy Bujar Leskaj proposed that Gazment Bardhi become the vice-president of the party, without a vote.
He also proposed that some of the MPs from his group join the Presidency of the Reestablishment according to the information provided by the journalist Osman Stafa.
"Our slogan is the February 20 protest. As a very important day where we have to react strongly against this corrupt government.
This day today makes you optimistic and is the first step to project the victory of 2025. The MPs, already united in one party, will be the DP's engine towards the elections and victory.
After February 22, we must sit down seriously and analyze the opposition action. Do we have to go on like this? What have we gained and what have we lost? We need a clear party program to present to the citizens. We cannot go to the people only to denounce Rama's corruption, but we also need to tell them what we will do differently. So we need a program.
As far as the organization is concerned, the deputies with whom we have joined should be given the conditions to vote in the nearest meeting of the National Council. While Gazment Bardhi, took the post of vice president of the party, automatically, without a vote. This is also based on the statute, without removing any of the current vice-presidents", said Leskaj.
