The Democratic Party has convened the National Council to continue with the organization of the February 20 protest.
Democratic MP Edi Paloka said that the most important thing related to the protest is participation.
Paloka said that the parliamentary group will continue the action.
"The National Council will focus on the February 20 protest. This is the most important issue. We will make a definition and a division of work for the deputies.
We are clear about the political situation. We are in the conditions where the leader of the opposition is under "house arrest". In the parliament, the opposition has been stripped of all its constitutional rights.
The parliamentary group has been reacting strongly for months and will continue. There have been reactions from internationals who have appealed to Rama to meet the conditions.
Their reactions came only when the parliament caught fire. By this I mean that if we do not react, the internationals will not follow either", said Paloka.
Democrat Paloka said that expectations for the February 20 protest are high.
At the same time, he called on all dissatisfied citizens to join this protest.
"At the February 20 protest, the democrats are expecting a lot. The main thing will be participation.
February 20 is there, when we will be in the square with tens of thousands, as Berisha said, once you lead the people, once they lead you.
The revolt, the discontent among the people has reached its peak. Today we are in a dictatorial regime and this affects a part of the people.
I made a call in my public appearances. Let anyone who has a grievance to express come out that day and express it.
There are 8 days left. We must all be on the ground. Today, the PD group held its first meeting in PD, after so long. It seems like a formality, but it is a big step towards the unification of all opposition structures.
Now that Berisha is in the conditions he is in, we have to do 10 times more. Berisha is with us, but we must increase our work tenfold to show everyone on February 20 that we no longer agree with the dictatorship", said Paloka during the meeting of the National Council.
