Analyst Edvin Kulluri, commenting on the elections for the new leader of the Democratic Party, which are expected to be held on July 29, he said that with Lulzim Basha, there was not and will not be an election in the Democratic Party, but an appointment itself.
In an interview for "ABC News", he accused Basha of manipulating the election process within the party, as many times as he had to face such processes.
" With Lulzim Basha, there were neither elections in the Democratic Party nor will there be. There can be self-appointment, freezing, melting, laughter, wars and revolutions that never begin and never end. there are no elections with prosperity. In 2017, the elections were manipulated for Lulzim Basha in open violation of the statute by freezing and filling the boxes with voice and image.
In 2021, the group that I was a part of and today is Rithemelim, we denounced with facts that over 20 thousand votes were entered in the box for Lulzim Basha and he did this with the current chairman of Rithemelim. When Lulzim Basha was not competing with Sali Berisha, imagine what he will do himself. It has nothing to do with the vote ," Kulluri said.
