The political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, accompanied by the candidates for MP, Gazmend Koduzi and Egert Haxhiu, held a meeting with farmers from Baldushku in Tirana.
Basha accused the government of abandoning agriculture and that most farmers have fallen into debt and abandoned their land. According to him, this situation has been created due to the theft of subsidies from the state budget, but also of EU funds by Rama and his friends at 7x7=313.
Basha also targeted Sali Berisha, who he said shouts that he will fight corruption, while next to him are people like Ilir Meta and Elvis Rroshi or former prosecutors and judges, referring to Arjan Ndoja and Gjin Gjoni, who are on the DP lists.
"Most farmers, instead of producing, have gone into debt. And as a result, they have left this job en masse, especially the younger generation, and have turned to emigration. Why has this crisis started in agriculture? Because there are no subsidies. It favors wholesalers, importers who are friends of the prime minister and the government. They were caught stealing European Union aid for farmers, the famous IPARD. 76 million euros of European taxes came to help the Albanian farmer. Instead of delivering subsidies to farmers, they were caught stealing them and building luxury villas and restaurants in the middle of Tirana in Dhërmi, for themselves and their friends. They have spent 7.2 billion of Albanian taxes, they did not find 100 million euros for the Albanian farmer.
So, the first thing that should separate us from each other is that a vote for number 5 or staying at home is a vote or a stance to continue the theft. 7.2 billion in spending, which these people don't even know what they've done with, is enough, more than enough to increase our objectives, which is a minimum pension of 250 thousand lek per month and a pension under 300 thousand lek with assistance for the energy bill and reimbursable medicines. But we know where they took the money, there to their friends at 7x7=313.
There is this other one who shouts that he will fight corruption. Who will he fight corruption with? With Ilir Meta or with Vis Roshi, or with the prosecutors and judges who have had their vetting removed for corruption. What do you think, will Ilir Meta become an MP and will corruption be fought?
