The leader of the Democrat Party also gave an example that explained the only law that the current government and the oligarchs around it recognize: that of property looting. And this example was the Port of Durres.
"A system has been established that transforms public goods and assets into the assets of small groups and robs citizens. I will stop at just one example and I will never forget it. The Port of Durres as a public work is today the number one asset, worth even more than the Drini cascade. It disappears before our eyes, in the most unimaginable way, an Arab emerges from the sea and says he will build the Dubai of a thousand and one nights with Edi Rama. And continuing, he described it as an act similar to an invasion, while the new port, according to Berisha, will be built again with Albanian taxpayers' money:

And this new port will be built and paid for by the Albanian taxpayers, those who count the cost of living," Berisha added.
