The deputy of the Democratic Party, Fatbardh Kadilli, commenting on the situation within the opposition, said that it needs reflection or otherwise it will again face the rejection of the citizens.
In an interview for "Vizion Plus", he accused Basha and Berisha as the two main culprits of the breakup of the DP, who according to him are sending the opposition to extinction with their personal reasons.
" The Albanian opposition has been stuck in a strong crisis for years, but the crisis has become more acute, sharper especially after the loss of the 2021 elections and after the total rejection of the elite, which is the main opposition, to reflect on the changes that have suffered by the Albanian society, the need that the Albanian society has for a new political response. This rejection, the rejection of Basha together with Berisha and the use of personal causes to choke the opposition's opportunity to express themselves will deepen this crisis , he said, emphasizing that the opposition was rejected by the voters and remained in personal ambitions. of politicians.
Asked if this crisis within the right could be a chance for a new leadership to emerge, Kadilli said that such a thing is unlikely to happen. According to him, PD is following the same line as the government, attributing all power to the leader. He added that both PD and the re-establishment revolve around one person, respectively Berisha and Basha.
" Of course it is a chance, but 2 are the obstacles. The first is what I call the official opposition, that is, the employed opposition which has many tools. We, as the opposition, were not rejected simply because we could not say the right things, but because we differ very little from the government.
