The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a press conference today from the Blue House.
Asked by journalists about the elections that could be held in the DP in the spring and whether he would run against Ervin Salianji, Berisha said that the latter is himself expelled from the party.
"I'm not here for that issue. Salianji is self-excluded, he forgives them, he made his own choice," he said as he closed the conference.
Berisha also spoke about the hacking case of SPAK prosecutors' emails.
Berisha stated that he received a message, which according to him contains data from the investigative file, describing the mention of the prime minister by the accused as a shocking fact.
"In the file on the hacking of the SPAK system, the hacker mentions Rama's name," Berisha said.
Berisha published several passages that he said were from the file, which evidenced communication between the people involved in the case.
"According to the file, on February 12, 2025, at 9:17 PM, Arnold Rrokaj sends Zambak Gjoni a photo that looks like a website, from which SPAK systems can be accessed. Then, he sends an SMS with the content 'ah, I can't open it'. Following this, Arnold Rrokaj sends another message to Zambak Gjoni: 'I'll write to Rama and let's make him a slave'", Berisha read.
