Deputy Dashnor Sula, speaking about the latest political developments in the country, stated that the result of the May 14 elections came as a result of the lack of the opposition's offer and the struggle within the DP.
In an interview for the show "Frontline" on "News24", he said that as long as the opposition does not come up with an alternative, new faces and does not reorganize, the situation cannot change.
Sula added that the leaders of the opposition, referring to Sali Berisha, Ilir Meta and Lulzim Basha, have until September to reflect on what happened, otherwise he declares that Prime Minister Edi Rama and SP have won the following elections.
He even said that he can think differently for a while, where other parties will fight for the second and third place, and Rama will be left to rule peacefully. Albania's biggest fault in this is politics. the politicians are the ones who have held hostage and grabbed this country by the throat, which has been languishing for a long time and which will get worse every day.
" Youth today goes away every day. Today I was in a meeting where the interlocutor told me that the reason people are leaving are 5 reasons, insecurity, lack of happiness, etc., so money was the fifth reason. There is no light and happiness in this place. This government buys, intimidates, blackmails the voters, but the hatred from the government should triumph as in 2005, as in 2013 when the SP came with a popular wave, the same should happen now.
This did not happen due to the mistakes of the opposition. The collective insanity of DP and Basha, with the burning of mandates and non-participation in local elections, led the opposition to enter a dead end. How is it possible that these people, be it Berisha, meta or Basha, fail to understand what happened that the citizens did not vote for them.
The voter has become a pragmatist and they don't want to follow them anymore. If they saw a strong and united opposition, we could have a different result. As long as the opposition is divided and we have a war between us, Rama will win. We have no offer. Without a new offer, without new faces, new organization, the situation does not change.
Berisha, Meta and Basha, politicians of this level, must understand that if they do not reason and make decisions not only for themselves to survive in politics, but for the Albanian citizen to win, this work will not be done. Until September at the most, they should reflect on the mistakes and that there is no money to be made with fuss and fuss, let them fight for number 2 and 3 and let Rama compete for 1st. Otherwise, there are a few who continue to stay in power. If they don't understand, I say that these people are irreparable and I wish Rama and SP enjoyed the power ", he said.
