Speaking about the situation in the north of Kosovo, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha accused official Tirana of being its instigator. During an interview on the "Opinion" show, Berisha said that Rama's standing by Vucic's side has damaged the process.
" One of the instigators of this situation these years has been the official and direct Tirana Edi Rama with his commitment to support projects for Greater Serbia alongside Vucic and has greatly damaged this process. Official Tirana must support Kosovo. It should not interfere between the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, but Albania is a party to Kosovo and cannot be declared impartial. Rama has burnt credentials, he is known more as a pawn of Vucic, so his attitude is harmful ", said Berisha, while asserting that the tensions in the north of Kosovo are the most dramatic developments in the last 2 decades.
Furthermore, Berisha said that from a legal point of view Prime Minister Kurti is doing everything to implement the law in his country.
" In legal analysis, Prime Minister Kurti is doing everything to implement the law in his country. The elections were held after Vučić ordered the Serbian List to leave office. These mayors elected with 3-5% of the votes, given the Serbian dominance in these municipalities, cannot be considered as governing that majority. Kurti clarified this issue yesterday, he said that they are technical managers to sign for a certain period. Their inauguration as mayors of municipalities where 90 percent are other ethnic groups, is a failure. Those elections are a failure. Kurti himself yesterday in Bratislava, explained that they will be technical persons who will do the tasks , "said Berisha
