Democratic leader Sali Berisha did not hesitate to attack the new parties competing in the May 11 elections, saying that they have no idea what the state is and that they are tools of Prime Minister Rama.
"Those who equate me with Rama are Rama's miserable tools. They cannot accept that citizens wait 14 years for a process. They do not accept, they have no idea what the state is, what rights are, and so on," Berisha said in Debate by Alba Alishani, on A2 CNN.
"Today there are 4 resolutions from all the center-right parties on the planet, denouncing Albanian justice as political justice. It's not me anymore. If a young person accepts political injustice, he accepts dictatorship."
Prime Minister Rama also attacked the new parties in these elections, calling them "a secular version of the late LSI", from the Off the Record studio with Andrea Dangli on A2 CNN.
"If you look at our team, it is much younger than the others, including those who are young only in age and say "We are the new one coming" and it is at the same time the oldest team, because there is interference between new energy and experience. They have neither new ideas, nor programs different from the programs of any kind of speculative force that has nothing in hand, that promises everything except mother and father and, above all, has no governing capacity," said Rama.
