The MP of the Joint Movement, Redi Muçi, categorically denied that the force he represents would support an opposition candidate for the municipality of Tirana, even if he comes from civil society, as long as Sali Berisha is at the head of the DP.
Invited to "Quo Vadis" on Vizion Plus, Muçi said that this does not happen as long as every candidate is a tool of Sali Berisha.
He said that even if cooperation were to occur, the condition would be that Sali Berisha would not be the leader of the DP.

Will you support a joint candidate coming from civil society?
Muçi: Impossible for us. In our approach, Rama's greatest blessing is that Sali Berisha is at the head of the DP.

Muçi: Whoever is the DP candidate, will not be supported by the Together Movement. We competed in 2023 in Tirana, we received 14 thousand votes, dotting the "i". By openly declaring that our approach is critical of Rama and Berisha, our hope for these elections is to multiply our votes.
Are you competing with yourself?
Muçi: Not just with myself. There are plenty of examples in other countries where, despite the fact that an autocrat is in power, another force takes over the municipality.
