The Special Court will decide on March 5 whether or not Fredi Beleri will be sentenced to prison. After the claim given by SPAK, which demanded 2.6 years in prison, today it was the lawyers who presented the defense. They demanded innocence for the elected mayor of Himara or the minimum punishment that criminal offenses provide.
During the defense, the lawyer presented arguments according to which he stated that the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora was wrong, and that it was not made available to them which device was intercepted and by whom this device was made available to Arsen Rama, the infiltrator of the police. Fredi Beleri himself is expected to be heard at the March 5 hearing.

SPAK trials
In the last session, the two SPAK prosecutors, Adnan Xholi and Dorina Bejko, read the conclusions in 60 pages of material asking the GJKKO to declare Fredi Beler and Pandeli Kokavesh guilty of election corruption. As proof, SPAK says that there are film footage of Fredi Beleri's meetings with the justice associate and communications with him over the phone and conversations in ambient surveillance.
