Analyst Fatos Lubonja has spoken about the situation of the meeting of 43 democratic deputies recently, led by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and Gazment Bardhin.
Invited to News24, Lubonja said that the meeting between the parties serves both Berisha and Bardhi, while adding that "the pieces of the DP" must find a form of communication between them.
According to him, the meeting between the parties is an opposition against Lulzim Basha, leaving the latter in the minority, even though he said that with the numbers he has, Basha can cause damage.
"The pieces of the DP must find a form of communication between them and make a resistance. This is a priority for me. In Albania, personal interests prevail over those of society, so this should be seen as a matter of interests.
The meeting serves both, but beyond Bardhi and Berisha, it should also serve the Albanians. In my opinion, they should overcome the complex towards the Americans, because the whole game is made for Berisha's non-woman. The policy of this group should be such that it becomes an opposition to the policies of the American embassy in Albania, destroying the opposition.
The meeting between Berisha and Bardhi is against Basha, leaving the latter in the minority. His attitude is relentless to stay and can do damage with the numbers he has. Basha is an extension of the remnants of the PD that remained in parliament and voted for Rama's laws. Willingly or not, he is held up by Rama. Those who joined showed flexibility", said Lubonja.
