The head of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Altin Dumani, says that the employees of the administration should stay calm and do their duty.
But he warned them that if they break the law, SPAK will exercise its right under the law to prosecute them.
Dumani said that "SPAK does not have a concrete target", but emphasized that they have their own sources that give them alerts.
"The administration should stay calm, fulfill the legal and functional obligations and as long as they are in compliance with the law, let them work peacefully. In the event that from our investigations we find behavior contrary to the law, as the law obliges us to do, we will prosecute.

There is a general fear in the public administration to sign tenders or develop various projects after the sensational arrests of SPAK, resulting in a decrease in the pace of spending in the state budget. This was also reflected at the end of 2023, where there was an excess of about 400 million euros unspent in the budget, also due to the fear of signing.
