The meeting of the Mandates and Immunity Council was accompanied by debates regarding the evidence presented by SPAK for the arrest of Belinda Balluku.
It is learned that Belinda Balluku's lawyer, Adrian Kalia, has requested three weeks to review the files, while SPAK has opposed it.
SPAK prosecutors have said that 5 days are sufficient to familiarize themselves with the file.
There was also a debate at the meeting regarding whether or not SPAK evidence should be made available to MPs.
The opposition wants to take the USB with the evidence and review it after the meeting. Meanwhile, the SP wants the documentation brought by SPAK not to be released from the meeting.
Prosecutors stated that the USB material can only be accessed by members of the Mandates Council, and they agree that the deputies can take it with them.
Balla told the Democrats that the evidence, i.e. the USB, should be viewed during the meeting and not taken with them.
