The conflict between Endri Shabani and Adriatik Lapaj is deteriorating. After the attacks and accusations against each other at a distance, it seems that there have also been anonymous messages, phone calls and threats.
An audio clip was released today, in which a person introduces himself as a representative of Albania Becomes and threatens Endri Shabani. Names have been circulating in the media, but it is not known for sure who the person in question is.
In the audio, he insults Shaban and supports Lapaj, while the threat came after Shaban's uncle appeared on stage.
" Oh Endri, listen to me, you've been very unfaithful. If your friend here says so, you've been very unfaithful. This will cost you dearly! It will cost you dearly! We will never, never leave the Adriatic alone. Never! The Adriatic has an entire army behind us. Okay. Two days ago, Shabani himself warned that his uncle had been threatened, while accusing Lapaj of threatening his children. But Albania Becomes has distanced itself from this threat. In a reaction on social networks, Lapaj's party has raised the flag of peace and demands that the parties sit down and talk.
" In light of recent events and content published online, we would like to clarify that we do not represent or support any form of offensive, threatening or violent language that conflicts with our values. We call on all our followers, sympathizers, activists and members engaged with us to reject the language of violence at any time, regardless of the emotional burden of any injustice ," emphasizes Albania Is Made.
Further, there is an invitation to Shabani and Soko: " If our mistake is reaching out for cooperation, you can judge us! We are simply asking that the pre-election agreement be implemented as we presented it to the citizens during the campaign. It is precisely that point that proves our approach to the race. We emphasize that we will not give up on the belief that fair competition is the only way to restore faith in democracy. Beyond any blackmail and deceit, inside and outside the system, we will stand.
We are waiting for reflection and a meeting for solutions from the other side in the Coalition. We consider this a moment that must be overcome as a duty to our voters. We are waiting for Mr. Shabani and Mr. Soko to address it with prudence and continue working for the local elections .
