Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha delivered his next speech this evening in front of the followers gathered below the apartment where he is being held under house arrest.
During his speech, Berisha compared the resistance of his supporters to the fight that Skanderbeg fought against the Ottoman invaders. According to him, Skenderbeu was fighting foreign invaders, while he and his supporters are fighting the internal invader, Edi Rama.
He further launched a flood of accusations against Prime Minister Rama, where according to him, the latter has brought poverty, crime and the departure of Albanians from Albania.
" You are invincible, because you are defending the great truths of the nation. Skanderbeg fought a foreign invasion, while you are fighting an internal invasion, more barbaric than any other invasion that Albanians have known.
You are fighting an internal invasion, like the power of a master thief, who in 8 years impoverished and made the country miserable by mercilessly stealing from Albanians and enriching himself with billions of government officials and his family members.
Rama with his regime, in eight years, turned Albanians into the most poorly paid people in the Region. For months and months, the crime law for the minimum living wage has been sent to the parliament, so that Albanians do not suffer for the food, but this law is rejected, because Rama knows that by impoverishing the Albanians, they either submit more, or leave the country.
Edi Rama, in his hatred for the opposition, used all the means to annihilate it, used every means to shut it up, but failed. This road is today the road of the free parliament of Albanians.
The speakers of this road are the parliamentarians of free speech, excellent representatives of the citizens and their truths ", said Berisha, among other things.
