British MP Lord Stewart Jackson, speaking at the closing rally of the Democratic Party's campaign, held on the New Boulevard in Tirana, called on Albanian citizens to vote number 1 on the ballot in the May 11 elections.
He said that victory is near, go out, take your families, your friends to write towards this future for your family, your children, for the future, and tell them to support the DP for a great future.
"I send you greetings from the House of Lords in Great Britain! It's a pleasure to be here. I was looking at all these young people and I'm looking into their eyes and I wonder what their future will be like. A generation ago, the young generation of this wonderful country threw off tyranny, communism in the name of freedom and democracy.
The future of Albania is a prosperous future that awaits us and we are at the beginning of the road. We can follow the path of corruption, of poverty, or we can follow a new path, which is towards freedom, democracy, work, business, prosperity, abundance, Albania's path towards the EU, towards the world, a visionary path that will open up more opportunities.
