The spokeswoman of the DP, Mirela Karabinaj, has not ruled out the possibility of joining the "group" of Bardhi deputies, but stated that they should apologize publicly for the betrayal of the Assembly on December 18, 2021.
According to Karabina, the MPs of the Bardhi group have a moral obligation to the DP since they were listed by Lulzim Basha in the lists for MPs and despite being voluntarily present in the December 18 Assembly, they betrayed the trust of the democrats.
" They are deputies who were listed there, they are deputies of Lulzim Basha, they were lucky to be there. But they have not justified why they are there. The group that has changed its path has a moral obligation to the DP, for the betrayal of the 2021 Assembly, where they were present voluntarily, no one forced them.
They have no political clarity on what path they are following. Deputies who sign against a structure that is a US investment that is helping the Albanian state, have a responsibility to answer. The door of the DP is open to all those who join this political line of the DP. They should ask for a public apology from the democrats because they have betrayed their trust ", said Karabina in "Report TV".
