The deputy of the Democratic Party Luan Baçi says that the socialists are afraid that Sali Berisha will be called as a witness in the Investigative Commission for TIMS, because of his statements that will be taken as evidence.
Baçi said that the testimonies that Berisha will give there will be taken as evidence and will be submitted to the judicial institutions.
According to the deputy, the majority is also afraid of the prime minister's release from 'house arrest', as according to him, they feel disarmed to face him.
"Gjylameti said that he agreed that both Berisha and Basha should be summoned, the Commission approved it there. They didn't say they were being ironic. Anyone can be called. Anyone with knowledge and familiarity should be asked. They came today very organized to avoid this legitimate request and to seek a solution for the irony they had used.
