The vice president of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, spoke about the situation of the Democratic Party, where she emphasized that there is a need for reflection.
Invited to Report TV, Tabaku said that everyone in the DP should see the result of May 14 and see the responsibility in themselves.
When asked if she will take the post of DP chairman, Tabaku said that this will be decided by the presidency, and that the general good of the DP is important. further, she added that people are tired of a PD that loses election after election, therefore, according to her, the rhetoric must be changed to be a governing force.
"It doesn't matter what I will do, what matters is the general good and where the PD is today. The situation in DP requires reflection. The problem is how to do things differently. I am implying that I will leave the discussions to the meeting of the presidency. I have given my opinion, I think that DP should take time to reflect. I don't want to prejudge the presidency's decision. I am only one of the members of the presidency. We need to get back to talking to people. We had a communication difficulty in the field.
Reflection is needed by all DP deputies. I saw the results of May 14 with sadness. We need to see what we can do differently. I believe that everyone should see the result of May 14 and see the responsibility in themselves. For me, the result of Shkodra, Kukes and Tropoja was depressing, everyone should see that they have the opportunity to lead. I believe there is no interest. People are tired of DP losing election after election, we need to change the rhetoric and see if we are ready to be a governing force tomorrow," said Tabaku.
