Today I was scheduled to work the first shift from 07:30 to 15:30, where I received the instruction at the beginning of the service from my direct superior, Information Inspector Arben Dulellari. My job position in IEVP Peqin (Peqin Prison) for about 2 (two) and a half years is as "Meeting Manager" in the "Meetings Building B" area. In my service placement inside this prison, I have been in service specifically with my colleagues Xhemal Sula, Brunilda Hyra, Mimoza Nuka, Burbuqe Manahasa.
I clarify that I am neither in the "Air Zone" (at the place of the incident) nor in the "Internal Regime" (the area of the corridors and cells of the prison). I emphasize that during the service there were no problems in our area in the "Meetings Building B" and that there is no visual view from my place of service neither in the "Ventilation Area" nor in the "Internal Regime" part of the prison. Around 1:50 p.m., we heard a lot of noise in the distance, in the form of people shouting, but we didn't know what was happening at all. After a few minutes, around 2:00 p.m., we saw from afar, coming from the road that leads to the "prison sock" towards the "Meetings Building B", prisoner Sokol Mjaca with a pistol in his hand. who was coming running. Two other prisoners were following him, specifically the convicts Indrit Shaqja and Tomorr Çaushi, who seemed to be following him wildly to fight with the convict Sokol Mjaca, even telling him: we will strangle you because you killed our friend. .
