Journalist Andi Tela asked former DP MP Ervin Salianji, a guest on the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, about his political project after being released from Fier prison after 10 months in prison.
Salianji said that he has never been anyone's obedient soldier and that the DP should open up to citizens and hire people with personality.
Excerpt from the conversation
Tela: We say this in the studio. But you have served 10 months in prison in the name of the party, so you have watched the elections on TV. Now you have come out and entered the DP headquarters. Do you plan to continue as a loyal soldier of the party, or do you intend to do something different? You mentioned two names, Dash Sula and Ferdinand Xhaferraj, two people who have attacked and criticized the party. Will you become a soldier like these others, or will you undertake a movement, different from the daily routine?
Salianji: You know that I have been in the public eye since day one. I will make every effort to make the DP better.
Tela: This is Berisha's axiom, that we will do everything.
Salianji: I am stating my position. As a soldier, I have never stood. Does the DP need to find this? Of course, the DP must open up to young people, collect contributions, hire people with personality. The DP must change its relationship with citizens.
