SPAK file: Jamarbër Malltezi also benefited from a floor of 1.2 million
Jamarbër Malltezi

Not only cash, bills and dividends totaling 4,657,755 euros, but also 1,250,815 euros as a benefit from "service units received in excess of the taxable area at the 11-storey ARA", one of the towers built in the Magnet complex in the lands of the "former Partisan Club". In the 500 pages delivered by Spak to Jamarber Malltezin, with which accusations of passive corruption and money laundering were made known to him, the benefit that the son-in-law of the former prime minister received from the process of privatizing the sports facility, on whose land, is also summarized then built 19 towers together with his cousin Xhimi Begeja and the builder Fatmir Bektashi, already accused together with Sali Berisha for this corrupt affair.

According to SPAK, Jamarber Malltezi, obviously taking advantage of his position of power compared to Bektashi (who was an investor) and his cousin, has also received an additional area of the tower with the name ARA worth 1,250,815 euros. A surface that according to SPAK does not belong according to the division made with the other partners. So the whole "Operation Partizani" produced an incredible profit of 5,908,570 euros for the family of the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Berisha!!! A staggering figure, even more so when compared to the average level of wages in Albania, but also to the total income of 1 million euros that Jamarberi and Argita declared after returning from Kosovo (an amount fully invested in other real estate). . That million euros had raised many doubts even at that time, since the husband and wife always attributed it to the correct collection of two salaries received from the international organizations they had worked for during the years of their stay in Kosovo, but they never explained where they found other money that logically they should have spent to finance their stay in Pristina, food, travel, children's education and other normal daily expenses of a family in those years. Jamarbër Malltezi and Argita Berisha are a unique case in the world where they manage not to touch the two salaries at all and save 1 million euros. Who paid the maintenance for daily life?

After returning to Albania in 2005 (when Sali Berisha became prime minister), Argita and Jamarbëri gave up those big international salaries to start over in Tirana, where they had neither work nor income, but where they could enjoy the protection of their father, Saliu. A successful choice considering that only with Operation Partizani (started a few days after the Berisha government took office in September 2005), the family of Argita and Jamarber Malltez earned almost 6 million euros, i.e. 6 times more than the profit realized in Kosovo. Profits to which are added millions of euros earned in the transactions in the land of Porto Romano and above all with the legal consultancy of Argita Berisha, which issued huge invoices to entrepreneurs who had enjoyed favors and concessions through the "personalized" VKM ', signed by Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

The next point that remains to be clarified is whether that profit of almost 6 million euros on the constructions at the former Partizani Club is the result of investments or simply the power derived from the "chance" of the surname Berisha, and therefore according to SPAK, the decisive intervention of Berisha government structures to achieve the privatization of the sports structure and the subsequent construction investment. Argita Berisha repeated on television that her husband invested a lot of money in those towers, but always gave different versions. A year ago, she said that she had received the invested money from the sale "in the pit" of houses not yet built; Yesterday evening, speaking again on the family's television, she referred to a loan of 1.3 million euros received from the Homeplan company (of which Jamarbër was also a partner) and other money, without however explaining their origin. This is a double-edged sword, since if Jamarber Malltezi claims in court that he had a large amount of money to invest in the construction of the tower (and that therefore the profit of 6 million euros is the appropriate compensation for his investment), he he will also have to explain where he got all that money from, at the same time his father-in-law was the powerful prime minister of the country. According to what Fatmir Bektashi stated for Spak, Jamarber Malltezi has never invested money in the construction of the towers and his function was only to convince other land owners to participate in the investment. The same function that, according to Bektash, would have been covered by Xhimi Begeja, also the heir of those lands, who, according to SPAK, has benefited from this investment "only" 3,354,140 euros, that is, almost half of what he has earned Maltez. Another mystery that will have to be clarified only in court./ Shqiptarja.com
