How can a party that removed it from the charter and stopped the election process for the president join us in the EU?!
After the work of the Assembly of the SP, held at the resort of Artan Dulak in Lalz, the General Secretary, Blendi Klosi, said that the process for the elections of the leaders of the branches and organizations of the SP in the areas and structures for the central bodies started.
To the question, whether in this process there will be elections within the party for the great chairman of the party, the secretary Blendi Klosi answered that the post of central chairman is not included in the elections, since he was voted by the people.
Elections in the party are a norm of democracy within it, where everyone who has ideas, skills, ambition and support, has the right to compete for the leadership of the political force.
However, Edi Rama has removed from the Statute of the SP, the race for the election of the president, as long as the SP is in power, when regardless of whether it is in power or not, it must be voted every 4 years with open competition and with rivals.
But for 19 years, Edi Rama has been ruling in the SP without being elected, even on April 9, 2022, he deleted from the statute, the obligation to elect the president, leaving it until the party loses the parliamentary elections, but it is not surprising that after loss of power, Edi Rama removes this condition again.
Despite the statute that allows Edi Rama not to vote as chairman, Edi Rama himself orders that every 2 and 4 years, elections are held for his subordinates and for the SP chairmen in districts, districts, municipalities and housing unit organizations.
It is absurd, that in a country with EU negotiations; the ruling party removed from the charter and stopped the election process for the president, allowing eternal rule in the party.
So, for 15 years, Edi Rama does not allow voting for party leader every 4 years, with the mindset that SP is in power, when the ruling parties in the USA, England, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, etc., every 4-5 years hold elections for presidents.
Even Kim Yong in North Korea, who inherited the post from his father and grandfather, makes party elections every 4 years; the Communist Party in China, which has been in power for 70 years, also makes elections.
Elections are held every 4 years by Vladim Putin's "United Russia" party, which has been in power for 24 years; Milorad Dodik's party in Republika Srpska, which has been in power since 2006; "Serbian Progressive Party" of Aleksandër Vucic, etc.
But also the Communist Party of Alexander Lukashenko in Belarus, which has been in power since 1994; Erdogan's "Party for Justice and Development", which has been in power since 2007; Viktor Orbán's "FIDESZ" party in Hungary, which has been in power for 14 years, as well as Milo Djukanovic's party, which has been in power for 30 years.
While Edi Rama, for 15 years, has not allowed elections to be held for the president of the SP, with the excuse that he is in power; when he is in power as prime minister, while within the party he has to compete every 4 years for chairman./ Pamphlet
