The leader of the "Albania Becomes" Movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has reacted regarding the situation created during Prime Minister Rama's visit to the residents of Durrës who are affected by the TID project.
In his reaction, Lapaj harshly criticized the behavior of the head of government, saying that it is unacceptable for a prime minister to give orders to the police to escort citizens.
"What kind of a country is this where the prime minister tells the police 'go get him' and the citizen spends 24 hours inside?" Lapaj said.
He also linked this situation to the protests organized by the movement he leads, stating that, according to him, there has been interference by the Guard against activists who have been protesting against the government for weeks.
"He sends the guard to us and tells them 'go get the chairs'. Today he gets annoyed when they call him 'thief', tomorrow they will force us to stand. He orders the police and they obey," Lapaj declared.
So far, there has been no official reaction from the Prime Minister's Office regarding the accusations raised by the leader of "Albania Becomes".
