Albanian-American activist Evi Kokalari has reacted harshly to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, following the latter's statement on the murder of Charlie Kirk in the US. In a post on her profile on the social network X, Kokalari asks Berisha to stop using Kirk's name, accusing him of hypocrisy and a series of political actions that, according to her, have harmed Albania and the conservative cause.
Kokalari brings to attention Albania's membership in the Islamic Conference, accusations of violence in Parliament, ties to George Soros, as well as a 1997 incident with US Ambassador Marisa Lino. She considers Berisha to be the cause of the hostage-taking of conservatism in Albania and calls on him to remain silent.

Trust me when I say that Charlie Kirk's family and friends do not need condolences from someone who represents everything Charlie stood against.
You have held conservatism in Albania hostage for the last 34 years and tried to undermine what I represented when I came to your aid in 2021, which was the MAGA movement.

According to your bodyguards, you ordered them to attack the car of American Ambassador Marisa Lino sometime in 1997.
You are a hypocrite who should stay silent and never mention Charlie Kirk's name.
To people like you, Charlie Kirk is like a priest who has to perform an exorcism.
Individuals like you are the reason why figures like Charlie Kirk are targeted, and there are dozens of stories in Albania of such acts that you have committed, directly or indirectly.
